Access Software started with programming games for Commodore 64 and Apple Computers. They made the Links serie, a serie of sport games that are very realistic and nice to play. Access Software also pioneerd the "RealSound" technology which, as the name tells you, are very realistic sounds via the PC Speakers. In April 1999 Access Software was bought out by Microsoft. The former programmers of Access Software helped the programmers of Microsoft games with Microsoft Golf, which was based on the Links series.
