Reviewer: pest Metal and Lace II is a fighting game, in the same genre as Street Fighter, Tekken, or Mortal Kombat, only the combatants are usually scantily clad women in the Hentai style of japanimation. Your keys are set-up for heavy and light punch, heavy and light kick, along with using the joystick for blocking, moving, and executing special moves. One new feature in the game which is important to know is how to charge your super meter, this is accomplished by down on the joystick and heavy and light punch at the same time.
When you start the game you can choose from a variety of different characters, each with unique characteristics and their own strengths and weaknesses. Characters such as Mimi, MingMing, JackMantis, and many others will give the player plenty of characters to choose from. It will take awhile to get the controls down, and each character is different. But with the speed of the game and the sheer fun of playing, it won’t be long till you have mastered at least one character.
This game is a little different than the first as it is much more linear, you progress from fight to fight, and then fight sub-bosses, then the super-boss. Unlike the first game you do not upgrade your character in between fights. As you complete the game, you unlock the naughty picture section and see more and more of the graphic hentai. This is plenty of motivation to beat that boss!
All in all this is a decent game. Its positives include some impressive graphics, both character renderings and fight locations. If you are a fan of japanimation or hentai, then this is one of the few games in English that take the animation to the extreme. Also this game is just a fun, fast paced, action game that is plenty of fun alone or in groups. The negatives of the games are after you have played it a lot and unlocked all the pictures the game kind of loses some of its re-play value. Also this is not the best fighting game available, others like Tekken and Street Fighter are much more technically complex and in-depth and will provide much more replay.
