Reviewer: kateogden Worm Wars 3 has been around for a while hasn't it? Although very basic in its construction and design, it is most certainly one of those games that becomes very addictive to play and you find yourself consumed in the game, trying to always beat the previous high score, whether it be your own high score, or somebody else’s high score. The game, as I said is fairly basic yet the entertainment factor remains quite satisfying! It is a fairly simple game to play, but like any other game, it does get harder and harder with each level.
You have the option of playing against the computer, or against a second opponent, a friend or what have you. Basically, you are worm, starting off quite short, and you must collect all the 'apples' as I call them. Thus making the length of your worm longer. But in doing so, you cannot touch the edges of the frame, or any other obstacles, such as the other opponent, whether you are playing against the computer or against a friend. If you move across or touch something other than what you are supposed to collect, you will either lose points or die. Thus losing the game and having to start over. With each level the worms speed increases thus making each level harder and harder to accomplish with the ease you may have had in the first couple of levels. There are sometimes weapons and such along the way you can collect that may aid you against your opponent. You can use them against your opponent to slow them down or stop them in their path. Each level is successfully passed once you have collected a satisfactory amount of 'apples'.
I remember first playing this game on my mobile, and like I said before, it is very simple yet appealingly addictive. You can be caught sitting there for hours playing it! It’s like those Tetris games, you just can’t stop playing! I find that I get quite frustrated when I hit the wall or something and have to start all over again. But in the end it’s worth the time and frustration because when you do eventually succeed in over writing your previous high score or someone else’s for that matter, you get a great sense of achievement.
