Slam Soccer 2006 is a fantasy based soccer game. The soccer field and the environment aren't fantasy based, but the soccer players are and the field is very small compared to the players, as you can see on the screenshot. This gives the game a less serious character. It's not like the FIFA soccer series.
This game is worth the download if you like soccer and want to try something different than the most soccer games.

I thought the 3D animation was excellent, although I do miss the days when computer games had those good old’ 2D characters. Just for the sake of nostalgia. I really love to play football in real life but playing Slam Soccer 2006 is a fun way to spend my down time. It’s a chill, easy to learn game that can also keep anyone entertained for hours. It’s definitely a game I’d come back to play and can’t really see myself tiring of it’s endlessly funny animation. I love the realistic and diverse atmosphere that’s created in the game through the multi-lingual commentators and the changing weather conditions. This game really does keep the player on their toes!
I also love the interactivity with other players through the online hall of fame. This adds to the challenge and creativity as the whole world of players can compete and learn from each other. It’s an excellent bonding tool for our generation of computer-internet youth. It’s also a great way to unite people from around the world who enjoy similar activities while also being an unrivalled tool for subtle integration of learning tools for accepting diversity and honouring the cultures around the world.
There seem to be only minimal problems I’ve run across while playing Slam Soccer 2006.
