This is a simple but very good pc version of the popular puzzle game Sudoku. Fill in the puzzle so that every row, column and every 3x3 box contains the numers 1 through 9. You can't change the digits already provided in the grid, so you have to work around them.
The score starts with 2000 and every time you press an arrow key to switch to another block on the grid, it will cost you one point.
This is a good game for Sudoku fans or for people who want to learn it, since it has three different levels.

Sudoku The Mind Game is a great game. It recreates the universe of the Sudoku booklets without having to turn pages, writing, erasing, and all the other things that makes books not fun. Also, the funky graphics are quite amusing and makes it fun for each and every group of age!!
Sudoku is a good and challenging way to stimulate your brain cells because it makes you use your sense of logic with his nine-by-nine squares that makes a total of 81 squares. The 9X9 grid is divided in 9 smaller squares which are three by three. The objective is to place the numbers from 1 to 9 in every square once, but also only once in each horizontal and vertical line. You start with some random number scattered in the grid. By logic and deduction, you can solve the puzzle. I personally never had to guess a number. So even if it looks as if you're stuck and can't place any more, you still can!!! Most of the time, you just have to walk away for one or 2 minutes, then come back and you will see other spots for numbers to rest. I personally can't let a sudoku undone, I just have to finish it before going to the next one!
It's a great activity to do in family. My family and I do a "sudoku night" every week. We all sit down, listen to music, cook a lot of food, and play sudoku! Then, it's a kind of race for who will finish their ten sudoku's first. We each have a turn on the computer, and there’s a timer. So whoever finishes their ten sudoku's first, wins. It's so addictive that, in our school, we did the same thing, a sudoku contest. Once per month, we all gather in the auditorium, about twenty computers all lined up, showing the same thing, Sudoku The Mind Game. Then the clock starts, whoever finishes first, wins a prize. Math teachers just love sudokus too. They placed 3 computers per class just so we could play sudoku. And you know what, the grades of half the class went up by 5-10% ! That's amazing and there's your proof, Sudoku makes you develop your sense of logic like nothing else.
As a side note, there's also a scoring method too, so you gain points by solving puzzles which is great because you can set your record and try to beat it each and every time you play it!
