Mickey and Pluto are walking down a country road which is surrounded by green hills. Suddenly, Mickey and Pluto see a flash of blinding light over the hill to the north. It turns out to be a spaceship. After boarding the ship, XL30 from the planet Oron gives them a quest. A thief stole the planets memory crystal a long time ago and broke it up into nine pieces, hiding them on each planet in the solar system. It's Mickey and Pluto's job to travel to each planet and to find all nine pieces of the memory crystal.
The graphics are like the other Sierra games from this age, they give the game an old look, although it may still be fun to play.

I first played Mickey's Space Adventure a few months ago at my cousin's place. She's only 6 but loved the game and convinced me to play it with her! Surprisingly I actually really enjoyed the game. I first thought it would be another kid’s game where you travel through space and learn all about the moon and planets and things like that, BUT I actually had quite a lot of fun with the game. It's great for kids because it's educational whilst at the same time being enjoyable for them. Graphics are great along with a fantastic design. All kids love Mickey, and now there is a pc game available where they can play and learn at the same time.
I am training to be a teacher at the moment and have just finished teaching rounds. I took a Grade 1/2 class and on my last day they were given free time. All the kids seemed to want to do was go on the computer to play this game because earlier in the round I had introduced it to them. It was a big hit with the kids. However, rather than doing my correction, I was more interested in watching the kids play it and joining in with them. I think it's a great game and should definitely be given at least a 4 star rating. I know I'll be playing it regularly as soon as I download it for myself. At the moment I have to visit family in order to play it!
Mickey's Space Adventure includes all the great characters that we all know and love! Although many of you may believe the game to be for kids, I recommend you play it at least once. You'll love it, as do I! Excellent gameplay and adventures. Coming up to Christmas, I would definitely encourage parents to look into this game for their children. Not only are they entertained but they're learning plenty at the same time. It's incredibly stimulating for kids because they can travel through space with Mickey and partake in numerous adventures whilst at the same time, learn loads about our solar system.
Overall, fantastic game. One of the best I've played in a long time! I'm 20 and to say that about a game like this is saying something. But, definitely try it out. You might just surprise yourself with how much you do enjoy it!
