Trick Blast manages to be both familiar and unique at the same time. It combines elements of hockey, pool, soccer, golf, cricket, foosball, and more all into one incredible game. You control an arrow which shoots balls at the main green ball, the object is to get the green ball into the opponent's net by hitting it with your own balls in a pool-like fashion. This game is extremely fast-paced and every second counts as you struggle to make the ball go towards your goal.
One problem is that you may get carpal tunnel syndrome, you need to rapidly pressing keys on the keyboard frantically (or click and move the mouse like crazy if you choose the mouse) in order to keep pace.
Download this game if you like keyboard/mouse pounding action to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Reviewer: JoeMamma3642 This game, what one would expect to be a simple and boring game, actually packs a punch that is so simple that anybody can enjoy it. The combination of rapid gameplay and the precise accuracy needed to succeed in this game allow one to take the next step up from your boring old Pong-related game. People keen of sports are able to milk this game for all it's got by taking advantage of its possibilities. It basically combines the aspects of many sports and brings you a simple game that can get you addicted in seconds.
I actually thought that this game would be boring when I looked at the first screen shot. Truth be told, I had no idea that I could be so wrong. This game is pretty much described as a diamond in the rough. The game's simple, lightweight graphics and even its easily handled controls allow any range of people to get sucked into the rapidly paced game play.
Some people have the complaint of a lack of reflexes, well there's nothing to worry about here! Even if you are a little bit slow to get accustomed to the game's rapid button mashing at first, once you get in the hang of things you won't be able to stop!
However, not all things about this game are positive. There is a bit of a monotony after the game has been played for a little bit. Even though the game can kill plenty of time and keep you sucked in for a while, the repetitive style of play offers no more entertainment once you have mastered the technique of playing. Some may find the action of easily gliding through a game fun no matter how long they play, but not me. I prefer to move on from game to game once I master them.
In summary, someone looking for a simple game to pass some time will definitely want to get their hands on this game. Hopefully it will take you a while to pick up on how to play it just so you can fully enjoy the span on fun offered by this game. I just want to assure you that you should not be taking me lightly when I call this game a "diamond in the rough". Such a simple-looking game offered me loads of fun for countless hours before I eventually finished my cycle of beginning a game and eventually mastering it. Take it from someone who has experienced it, this game is worth it! Download Trick Blast (tblast.zip)
