This is another Yahtzee style game, except instead of dice, you use playing cards! The cards are arranged in a top-down pyramid and you need to pick 5 accessible cards, from which you choose your scoring box to try to get the most points.
For those used to Yahtzee, this game will be very weird and will take time to get used to. Nonetheless, Wowzee deserves a lot of credit for its well-executed unique concept.

Wowzee was one of the best time waster games that I've seen in a while. It's thought provoking, but not so much so that you will be persuaded into getting back to work because your procrastination is making you tired.
The biggest issue with Wowzee is the learning curve. After playing for the first few minutes, it seems like you haven't been able to master the game, and that you never will. However, after keeping at it for an hour or two, the game becomes a breeze and you realize that you will be able to reach the higher levels of Wowzee within a few days of playing. Surfing the net for a demo or guide to Wowzee is not a good way to spend your time. A much better use of your time would be to continue playing Wowzee until you've figured how to double jump blocks. Once you have that skill, you'll be able to reach the latter levels of the game with ease.
All in all, nice time waster. Try it.

Wowzee is a game that is a mix of Yahtzee and mahjong, but played with cards. Don’t get it? It is quite simple once you start.
You just start selecting cards and keep going down until you have 5 cards, and those cards are the value of your “hand”. The scoring is very similar to Yahtzee, with many of the same scores and combinations.
I liked the game because it was simple to learn and easy to play. The graphics are very plain, but the game plays well. If you like these types of games you will like this one.
One of the tricks is to pick the right card each time. As you go down the stack each card you pick opens up a different combination of cards you will be able to get into your “hand”. If you pick poorly at the beginning then the whole hand will be bad. Just like in regular Yahtzee, it is not always a great idea to pick the highest card to save on each turn. Many times the lower value cards will give you a better hand in the end. Plus, you need to get different combinations to fill up your score card. It is a challenge, just like in Yahtzee, but a lot of fun.
All in all I would recommend the game to anyone, who enjoys playing Yahtzee type games. Or, if you are trying to kill time at work it works for that too.
