This is one of the simplest possible games in the world, your job is to pick two cards which match (i.e.: are the same rank/number). Uses the standard 52-card deck of playing cards. The less attempts you need to make, the better.
Unlike many games of this type, this has pretty nice graphics and a comprehensive interface.
If you like card matching games, this game might be what you're looking for.

This is a pretty simple game. It is easy for anyone who isn't very computer savy, yet as simple as the game is, it is quite enjoyable. To start the game, there is a series of cards lined up in rows across the screen. The object of the game is to turn over two cards at a time and try to match what is behind each card. For instance if behind the one card is a picture of a car then it is your job to find the other card with a car behind it as well. Play continues like this until all of the matches are made. If the user makes a match, he gets to try to make another. If he makes a mistake and selects two cards that do not match, play is turned over to his opponent, who will try to make matches until he, too, makes an error.
As easy as this sounds, unless you have a very strong memory this typically takes more time then you would think. I found this game to be very entertaining especially when I was playing with my nephew. Although young, he found the game to be very addicting forcing me to play along with him for hours at a time. Although simple the time honestly flew by because of again the addictive nature of the game.
I can't imagine someone downloading this as their very first classic game. However this deserves a little shelf room on any classic gamers shelf/ beware though the graphics are pretty rudimentary. I guess being a DOS game this may have been advanced at one time. The truth though is that really the graphics dont matter to much. Surely you wont be putting this on your Hd Tv anytime soon. But If you are short a deck of cards and are looking for some simple addictive fun look no further.
Finally I should point out that the games lay out is truly friendly. This in itself is a very important fact if you are downloading games for younger gamers who may not know all the computer tricks of today's games. Instead of anger or frustration this game will encourage its user to continue to play for hours and hours and literally more hours of endless fun. I am very thankful I randomly downloaded this game out of sheer boredom. Sometimes accidents cause some of the best results. VGA Memory Builder will do what it promises; help build yours, your girlfriend's, and your young one's memory. That is a task onto itself.
