If you've ever played Defender on Atari 2600 or the arcade, then this game should bring back memories. The object is to protect little stickmen from alien spaceships trying to take them.
The controls are a little awkward, pay attention and memorize the help screen that shows up when the game starts.

Harvest Moon is a really cool game. I’ve become addicted to it since I began playing, it is a really fun game. The mechanics and outcomes of the games are interesting. You cannot play the game twice and end up with the same ending. That’s something really cool about Harvest Moon, it is just all around a great game.
Takakura is usually the person who helps you with everything. He gives you a horse and stuff, and he helps you make a living. You can choose from various spouses, which is really cool too. You choose whichever one you like, and give them gifts and stuff, and when the time comes, you will get the option to marry them if you want. After you get married, you can make your house bigger and have kids. You can buy stuff off of TV, and use it in your home. You can have and breed animals to earn money. The townspeople are always really nice, which is cool. They give you gifts sometimes, if you befriend them. People and animals do die in the game, that is sad I know, but it makes the game more realistic since people and animals die in real life anyways. You earn money, and have to spend it to keep yourself from passing out, you need to keep your character healthy. A dog is always a good companion to have.
Mining is also an option, you can mine wherever there is mining land and find jewelry, stones, and other valuables you can give to your significant other. There is a girl in the mining area that you can marry. She is weird, but if you want a less civilized life, she is the way to go. There is a pin-up girl in the game too, who has high standards and wants the best. She is materialistic, does not like nature things. She is costly, but has cute kids in the end, and is also very unpredictable, which is fun. There is a small town girl who lives on a farm. She is easily impressed, she likes nature more than anything else. You can just bring her flowers, so she is kind of cheap to spouse. Her child is very cute and she raises him to live off the land. You can befriend anyone else in the game, but there are only select women you can try to marry.
The game is, overall, just really great.
