This is yet one more rendition of Spider solitaire, a very complicated game that resembles FreeCell and Klondike but is way different from both of them. To play, you need to get 8 stacks of cards with King on the top and Ace on the bottom, all the same suit. You use a 104-card deck (two decks) and a card can be laid on top of any card that is one rank higher or an empty space (kings can only be laid on an empty space). If two or more cards of consecutive descending rank are on top of each other, then they can be moved together.
Compared to other solitaire games, this is extremely hard to win. Download this if you like complex solitaire games that are easy to learn but hard to win.
Reviewer: Sparks10107 The game itself is not complicated but simply fun! Though it is very enjoyable the three levels of difficulty changed made the game even more exciting in the gameplay. Easy mode will appeal to the novice of card players or gamers, while the expert will enjoy the harder difficulties. If the need for a little help to start you off, you always can check “show an available move” feature.
To start off, ten sets of cards are randomly selected for you. The objective: you must place them in a certain fashion. All cards must line up like this; King, Queen, Jack, 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,Ace. Once you fill the set, your cards will automatically be removed and you have just completed only a portion of the game.
Depending on the difficulty, your cards must be placed from the same suit, for instance, all spades must be in a row. In easy there is only one suit, normal there are two suites and in hard there are all four suites awaiting your superior brain! That’s the only rule that changes the gameplay of “Spider- Solitaire” from its ancestors. Until there are no moves available, just deal from the stack at the bottom. Do this until you clear all 104 cards.
See, it’s a simple game. Does it get boring in ten minutes? Surprisingly, no! Download Spider (spider.zip)
