This is almost identical to normal Tetris, except that there is a competitive 2-player mode where getting lines hurts the other player. Also, the mouse can be used to control the game pieces. Graphics and layout are decent.

Ultris is another version of Tetris. Like its original predecessor, Ultris is equally as addictive as Tetris. The main difference between Ultris and Tetris is that it features a two player mode in which scoring lines can "hurt" the other player.
The mouse can also be used to control the game pieces.
The layout, while simple, is not bad for this version of the remake. There have been far worse!
It still features most of the original aspects such as the seven one-sided blocks, and the ten line score for a level up.
Be warned, the game is still extremely addictive and too much gameplay may result in something known as the "Tetris Effect".
Ultris will run on any PC with EGA or VGA. As stated earlier, a mouse is supported in gameplay, but not necessary unless you're running in two-player mode.
This is very impressive and very enjoyable game. Try it.

Ultris is very similar to the game Tetris. This game features an arcade style gameplay which is very user friendly. Controls are very simple and do not differ much from Tetris. The main difference between Ultris and Tetris is that Ultris features a fantastic multiplayer option in which two people can play against each other to win. Each player creates lines hurting the other player until one person will win.
Graphics are basic, but satisfying; I really liked the gameplay as well as the multiplayer where I and my friends battled it out. If you’re a fan of Tetris I suggest you check Ultris out as it is the next hit Tetris spin off.
The game leaves players wanting more, because it’s very addictive.
