Well, there's not much you can do here except drive with one car around a track with no opponents. Just drive around the track over and over again. Sounds boring, eh? Well, it might be fun to go fast and crash into the walls...
Download this only if your interested in learning about the look and feel of the game. This is certainly one heck of a stripped down demo (they did this so that the game could fit on a floppy).

Well surprisingly although I'm not a big fan of nascar or racing at all, I like this classic racing game. It kind of reminds me of another classic racing game I had played years ago. Nascar racing is actually quite a good game especially for all the speed demons out there who enjoy going 0 to 60 in seconds. Its graphics are kinda ok for the age of the game. The game is quite exciting. The driver's name is John Smith and he drives for Nascar Team USA from Cambridge, MD. It also comes with a fully animated dash board with a speedometer and with the first person point of view that really makes you feel like a nascar racer. Reaching speeds of about two hundred miles per hour on the taladega is actually more exciting than it seems when you first look at the game.
When I downloaded it, I didn't really expect too much, but I actually enjoyed playing it and I'm actually about to play it again now. I wish it would have allowed you to do a little bit more as far as choosing the selection of cars, drivers, car colors, engine types, tracks and ways to speed and upgrade the overall performance of your car. That's probably one of the only downfalls of this game besides it not allowing you to actually race anyone or even go head to head with the computer. Regardless of the limitations in game play and its graphics, it's still a great game and I really recommend it if you are a nascar fan or a race fan in general. I'm really looking forward to playing more games like this and hope you enjoy it and wanna play it and other games like it as well.
