Skiking remembered me of the Windows game SkiFree. The intention of it is allmost the same. You are skiing somewhere on a mountain and you have to the bottom of your screen. Once you're over the line, you will go to the next level, which is longer, has more trees and is therefor harder to beat.

If you enjoyed SkiFree, or liked other Sports games where you had to ski, I think you'll also like this game.
You should run it in DOSbox since it runs very fast in Windows.

I remember playing this game as a kid on my Grandma's computer. It was so simple and easy, but had very long levels. Yes I'm talking about SkiKing. I'm a big fan of skiing games and this one is pretty darn good.

It's actually kind of relaxing to tell you the truth. You just go and go and go through the levels, but that's about it. Going and going and going. It gets monotonous if you ask me. It reminds me a lot of SkiFree on the Windows, and the game's plot is pretty much the same. You just ski! The only difference is more trees, longer distances, and grey snow. Grey snow I guess because white was either unavailable or just blinding to the eyes.

Either way, I enjoyed this game. I enjoyed a lot of the skiing games. This one is actually at the top for actually a bit of a challenge. (Although, I miss that monster in SkiFree.) If there was more of some kind of animal this game would've been cool!

Look is always a great part of the game. It needs to look good as well as be good. You all should know what I mean by that. Skiking 2 fixes that. They updated the graphics, the gameplay, and added some obstacles like ice. The graphics are the biggest update. If you are a die hard skiing fan or sports games then be happy to buy or download this game.

My last thoughts:
Skiking would actually be a great comeback on the newest portable game systems as a whole new game. I mean, there isn't many skiing games except Line Rider. Why not? If the developers or any other game pitcher sees my article it would be a great idea, especially on the DS since it can be flipped like a book and the touch screen to blow trees out of the way or something. Just my thoughts.
