This is one of many auto racing games available for the PC. Pick a car, pick a track, and race against the computer. The computer player is highly skilled in this case so it is hard to beat him. Also, like Need for Speed, it is hard to turn without crashing. Compared to other racing games, this game is not very special. Nonetheless, it is still somewhat cool.
If you like racing games, download it. If you're not much into racing games, this game may not be very interesting.

Topspeed 300 is a game from the early 90’s feel that I just could not stop playing. Even when it was time to eat dinner, I could not seem to tear myself away – not because I was almost ready to take over the world, but because the simple thrill of winning the race is one that is timeless.
It was difficult at first to get the feel of the controls. The cars seemed to be a little more responsive than those that one would find on the typical PS3 or Xbox game. It could be that there was no joystick with which to control it. It was interesting to go back to the old arrows on the keyboard in order to control the cars. The graphics were jumpy and did not flow as well as the “fat” games of today, but that is part of the joy of playing Topspeed 300. If you are looking for something that leaves you utterly breathless and wondering if you’ll ever settle down enough to sleep tonight, you’ll have to look elsewhere. This is just an old-fashioned game with all the joy a 40-something like I am has been looking for.
I have played a lot of games in my days, but Topspeed 300 seemed, more than most others, to fill the vast void that I have felt when it came to gaming which allowed me to connect with the young man I was almost 25 years ago.
Topspeed 300 brought back the days of yore when I first jumped in my father’s corvette at the ripe old age of 15 and thought I owned the world. This game was pure joy in the most innocent of ways – just plain timeless.
