This game is similar to the classic game Simon, there are 9 squares, the computer lights up the squares one at a time in a sequence, you need to memorize the exact sequence and click on the squares in the same order the computer lit them, one at a time. This is an intense way to test your short-term memory and may be frustrating for some.

Only download this if you like games that test your ability to memorize stuff.

Otra was a very fun game to play much like a Simon says type of game. I actually think the game that I am trying to compare it too is actually called Simon.
Although the idea of the game is very simple, it makes it very difficult by throwing in many combinations that you have to follow, it is a very mentally tough game. However, Otra seams to throw in another trick that people don’t catch onto. One of the things about Simon is that it uses colors which tend to help people memorize better, or at least studies show. However, Otra does not use those colors, people playing this game have to go based off patterns alone, which is much tougher to do. The other thing about this game is the expectation that they expect out of you.
After plaything this game I see that it is actually a very mentally demanding game. I play many puzzle games a lot, I am just kind of a nerd like that, so when I saw Otra I picked it up thinking it would be kind of easy, however, it isn’t. The patterns that this game can throw at you really tend to mess with your head. One of the things about the game though, is that it doesn’t have anywhere to go, so it tends to get a little repetitive and therefore boring pretty easily. However, while the game may get boring, and repetitive, it brings to the table the ability to always change, you will usually never get the same pattern over and over again, and this ability to change brings in the idea of a never ending game, yes if you play it long enough or often enough you may see the same pattern a few times, that tends to be the case when there are only 9 spaces to light up, however, for the availability that the game has to do its gameplay on, defiantly can not complain about the diversity. This diversity I think is the key to the game being any bit successful.
All together, I would highly recommend this game to any one that is into puzzle game or mind teasers, if I had to rate it I would rate it 8 stars out of 10. This rating again comes on the high diversity of the game, but is a little bit lowered due to the fact that the game has no where to expand if needed be.
