This game is based on the arcade classic Missile Command, protect your cities from nuclear bombs using your missiles to destroy the nukes. However, you only have two turrets compared to three in most Missile Command games. Also there are other minor differences. Has decent physics, collision detection, graphics, and sound. Overall, a well-made Missile Command clone.

Nukem is an addicting game familiar to most if you have ever played missile command. You start with three turrets and you have to blast the nukes from the sky before they destroy your cities. Sounds a lot like Missile, but the game is different in that its nukes not aliens and Nukem is a lot of fun. You start off with nukes coming slow and as you would guess they pick up speed and more of them start falling from the sky. So in general there isn’t a lot to the game, other than protecting your cities from nukes, but the game is addicting. So if you are a fan of the missile command games I recommend Nukem, you won’t be disappointed.
You will spend hours playing it. The game brings back memories and you will wish you were little again, not that we can go back in time but this game helps a little. But like I said you get three turrets to protect yourself from as nukes fall from the sky the idea is to shoot them out of the sky to keep them from touching your cities. If they touch your cities then they explode and that city is destroyed and you must go on protecting yourself. Same goes for your turrets if a nuke hits one of your three turrets than yes as you might have guessed your turret or turrets are destroyed and your left with two or one. If all three are hit its game over and you are left starting back over, I know we all love doing that. But let’s face it its going to happen. Anyways the same goes for your cities if the nukes hit all your cities then your have to start over and enjoy the pain all over again. The game continues and you keep shooting and like I said earlier the nukes go faster more and more come until eventually it comes down to speed and you have to click the screen to shoot and your finger starts hurting but you can stop or boom. Just remember though if one of your turrets is destroyed don’t quit or give up cause you still got two left and, you would be surprised the damage you can do, or in this case the damage you wont allow to occur. So when it comes down to it this game will give you a challenge, and its fun to go along with it. It’s worth a download to at least try and it’s also a good way to pass the time for awhile.
