Sqaurez is a nice puzzle game made by Adept Software. It's a kind of tetris game, but a bit different. The blocks in this game, the sqaures, will start in the box in the big square on the bottom of your screen. You have to move them to a place on the field above it so it will be filled with these squares.
Squarez has recently been released as freeware. The nice graphics, good gameplay and sounds have made a lot of people addicted to this game.

Squarez. What can I say about Squarez ? I love it, I love it and I am a very big fan of Squarez.
I first encountered Squarez on a demo disk that was in a PC gamer magazine. I like strategy games and gave it a go. I was hooked. I found that I was playing Squarez far into the night when I should have been getting my sleep for work the next day. I find that it stimulates your brain and concentration but also relaxing at the same time. You have all these special tiles and you must learn how to put them to good use.
It is a challenge to create squares and have them removed from the board so that you get the best score possible. Some of my favourite tiles are, Dumb missile (you can aim it in a certain direction and it takes out anything in its path), Acid (you can dissolve tiles in its green goo), Right bar shifter (I play the left side so this decreases my opponents board), Activator tile (activates all squares on the board, this could be good or bad), Empty tiles (this allows you to possibly pick up a tile such as the Steel Pyramid and move it next to the bar where the bar may run over it). Some tiles that are not so nice are Spikes (creates metal spikes which you have to void with good tiles), Steel Pyramid (you have to void it out by using tiles such as bombs).
There is a good balance between nice and no so nice tiles. It is also a huge challenge to decrease the size of your opponent’s board. I like the timing snake because you are given just the right amount of time to get the job done. Some other games that are timed do not give you enough time to play the levels.
