The graphics are simple but nicely done. The sound is simple and appropriate. While at first this game looks like a Pipe Dream clone, it is way different. This game adds a fresh approach to that genre. The pieces are already there for you, you can only turn them. Simple yet hard, makes a wonderful game! However, the repetitiveness may be a bit annoying. Overall, a well made game! Needs a fair amount of patience and brain power since one tiny mistake can make you lose.

If you liked Pipe Dream or its clones, this should be a nice game for you! If you've never played Pipe Dream or similar before, this game may be very irritating.

This is a great game that I instantly fell in love with. It is very similar to Pipedream (if you've ever played that one), except that you don't lay down the path of the ant, but rather click on the various scrambled pieces that are already randomly placed to twist them and form a path that the ant can follow. Like Snake II, the ant can run into one of the walls and he/she will come out on the same space of the opposite wall. It's really fun to build a path as far as you can before the ant actually gets there.

Each space counts as an inch, and once the ant has travaled 20 inches, and THEN moves through a wall onto an open and "lined-up" space, the spaces that have been blocked out are freed and turned into random spaces that you can then continue to use to make a good path. However, each time this happens, one of the spaces on the anthill disappears completely, creating a black hole that acts as a permanently blocked out space. These "black holes" disappear after the level is completed--which is accomplished by simply reaching a certain score.

The graphics are pretty good, especially for their day. The sound effects are, however, quite annoying, and I usually play with them turned off. In fact, I think there's only one sound for the whole game.

This game can be quite addicting, and I'm always striving to get a higher score. As the levels progress, it gets more difficult in the following ways:

1) More of the tiles are placed as straight paths, leaving you with less options as far as choosing the direction goes.

2) The ant moves just a little bit faster, but not by much.

3) More "Start" tiles are placed, and the ant starts in one of them, but you don't know which one, so you have to hurry and prepare for all of them.

4) An "End Here" tile will appear on levels 5 and 8, and it's game over if the ant doesn't die in that exact tile. Those are pretty hard, but it's a very nice challenge.

I would consider this game quite a bit more fun than Pipedream. It is more intense because you can keep going and going and going and racking up the points, and it's even a bit easier because of the fact that the tiles are already there and the blocked out tiles reset. Go Antrun!
