Graphics: 1/5, Cyan, cyan and more cyan. A flat, drab looking game. (Cyan is a pale neon blue color).

Sound: 4/5, Nice PC speaker music and sound effects.

Gameplay: 2/5, Repetitive, frustrating, and hard. Only for patient gamers.

Overall: 3/5, Worth a try if you are curious. Not much fun unless you spend a lot of time trying and trying again.

Note: If you have a Pentium 1 or better, this game may be too fast.

Star Goose is a simple, top down fighter jet shooting game. The graphics are very simplistic, a cyan background and a simple goose-like ship that you control, running around and avoiding enemies. There doesn't seem to be any objective to this game other than to get as far as possible without being shot down and thus achieve a new high score. This is an easy-to-learn, difficult-to-master game: it has very simple controls (move and fire) but the game is very fast, making it easy for those with slow reflexes to get shot down, crash etc.
The main challenge in this game is to avoid crashing. There are elevation changes on the surface that make things difficult, and you have to move quickly to avoid hills and trenches. To make things more complex, there are enemy’s ships planted on the ground that fire at you repeatedly. Take too much fire and you'll get shot down, as expected. Additionally, there are boundaries on the surface which you cannot cross or you'll immediately crash. This can make things tricky because sometimes the boundaries taper down, giving you only a small bottleneck with which to navigate your ship. There are also mines and structures that you can crash into.
All in all, try this to kill some time.
