In Skyroads you have to jump over walls, holes and other obstacles to get at the finish. It sounds boring, but it's far away from that! In the begin you can finish a level simply after trying it once, but after a couple of levels you just can't finish a level simply, you have to play it more than once to finsh it because it gets hard.
Graphics: 10/10, Simple yet genius 3-D polygons and beautiful backgrounds make this an artistic masterpiece (for its day). Also smooth movement.
Sound: 10/10, Excellent background music and sound effects fit in well with the game's style.
Gameplay: 5/10, May get very frustrating; you may crash when almost finished a level and then you have to start the level all over again. Finishing a level has a rewarding feeling.
Overall: 8/10, A well-done game with creative design and simple gameplay. If you don't mind lots and lots of practice and retries, then this is a game for you.

SkyRoads. A simple, yet extremely fun future racing game. I bought a disc of 100 demos, and this was on it. Ahh, the days spent maneuvering the complex and often nice-looking roads. Make no mistake, this is a great game. Don't dismiss it for its shabby graphics, and producers you do not know of. As stated many times before, this is an excellent game. You weave in and out of blocks, roads, tunnels, and holes in the floor. You play as a little tiny car on a road in the sky. You drive along trying to avoid being crushed, falling down, and crashing. The file size is pretty big for an old game, but is worth the download. You will enjoy this game if you enjoy racing games in general.
Originally, SkyRoads was a remake of Kosmonauts. There are many different roads on which you must watch out for, including: Light Red (exploding ship), Light Green (Speed Up), Blue (fuel and air), Dark Gray (stuck in one direction), and Dark Green (Speed Down). Be sure to watch out for these roads when you are playing. At the end of the level, there is always a tunnel that shoots you off into space to complete the level.
